Velvet Mid-Century Modern Curtains

Obsessed with these in my daughter’s nursery. They aren’t fully blackout, I’d describe them as very darkening. But they do the job for sure. They make the room so cosy! no wrinkles. Would definitely buy again

I bought these curtains to use in my bathroom for the garden tub. They work wonderfully to help shut out the world while soaking in a peaceful serene bath. They dry quickly if you get them a little wet which is great. They are beautiful and the perfect size, weight and they block out the light while keeping in the warm steam from my bath. It’s like a mini sauna while soaking in the tub. My husband loves these curtains for the bath tub too.

I really love these curtains. They wash well, the tops are well-made, they are true to length and the fabric is nice. The price is right, too. It gives the look of velvet without the weight, which is perfect for a room where you want a nod to luxury without taking itself too seriously. The blush beige is also just barely pink enough to be noticeable; it's super soft, but not so muted that they feel beige. They are not full blackout, but they are pretty darn close, especially if you have blinds or a light-filtering shade underneath. They seem to be resisting wrinkles, but they also resisted my attempts to gather them for a week to pleat. All in all, they still look great and I'm very pleased.

I am so genuinely impressed with these curtains from Joydrape. With the right tools and a little DIY know-how, they can look incredibly high-end and fully custom.

I used the built-in pleat tape on the back of each panel, added triple-pleat drapery hooks, and hung them on curtain rings. For anyone wanting to recreate the pleated style in my photos, just search “Triple Pleated curtain hook tutorial” on YouTube or TikTok. It’s extremely simple once you see someone do it. I chose the 102-inch panels for my 9-foot ceilings, with the rod mounted one inch below the ceiling. They hit the perfect length and hover about an inch above the floor. I personally didn’t want a puddled look (because I have cats), and this length keeps everything clean, crisp, and practical.

The quality for the price is truly unmatched. I visited a few boutique drapery shops before buying these and was quoted several thousand dollars for the same number of panels with custom pleating. I completed this entire wall for just under $300 and achieved a look that feels truly custom.

I really love these drapes.. They are romantic and rich looking. They are great light blockers. Super soft, high quality without being too expensive. They fit great and are easy to install! I just opened these olive green velvet curtains. I was having a problem getting that true olive green . These are a true olive. I had to return the 1st. Pair as they were like emerald, evergreen or forest color and called olive. They are darker than the picture I am seeing but still perfect for what I am doing. So if you are looking for that olive color this is it. Goodness they are just so lush. Like real velvet texture. The stitching on these is beautiful and I strung them on the broom handle just to see how they would look on the rod and held them up to see how they will drape and all I can say is these are perfect! Hardly any wrinkles and can not see through them. Ordering the rods tomorrow. The price was so reasonable I got an extra pair to make a table cover and some toss pillows. These are perfect if you are going for English cottage look. Very regal looking! All of the colors of these look amazing.
