1. Linen

Linen is the gold standard for a relaxed, airy feel. It has a distinct natural texture and beautiful drape. It is breathable and perfect for coastal or farmhouse styles, though it does tend to wrinkle, which adds to its charm.

2. Cotton

Cotton is a versatile, crisp fabric that holds its shape well. It offers a clean, classic look and is generally easy to maintain. It works beautifully in traditional or contemporary settings where a neat, tailored appearance is desired.

3. Velvet

For luxury and insulation, velvet is unmatched. Its thick pile provides excellent light-blocking properties and sound absorption. It adds a sophisticated, dramatic touch to formal dining rooms or cozy bedrooms.

4. Polyester

Modern polyester is highly durable and resistant to fading and shrinking. It is an excellent choice for high-traffic areas or sun-drenched rooms. Our premium polyester blends mimic the look of natural fibers while offering superior longevity.

5. Cotton-Linen Blend

How Fabric Weight Affects Hardware Choice

The weight of your chosen material determines the type of curtain rod and brackets you need. Heavy fabrics like velvet or weighted chenille require sturdy metal rods with middle support brackets to prevent sagging. Lighter fabrics like linen can be paired with thinner rods or even tension rods for a more minimalist look. When ordering custom curtains, always consider the total weight of the panels to ensure your hardware is up to the task.
